Special Agricultural Scholarships
As a result of decisions taken during the first India Africa Forum Summit of April 2008, it was decided to offer 300 special agricultural scholarships to African scholars. The scholarships were to be awarded over a period of four years with 75 scholarships per year. A total of 100 scholarships were to be awarded for Ph.D and 200 for masters programmes. The third edition of the scholarships is currently being processed. These scholarships are invited by the African Union Commission and applications are forwarded to India through the Embassy of India in Addis Ababa. Indian Council for Agricultural Research is the nodal agency for processing these applications. C.V. Raman Scholarships
As a result of decisions taken during the first India Africa Forum Summit of April 2008, it was decided to award C.V Raman scholarships to African researchers from all African countries.
